Usage:

This is an open access website which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles on this website without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

In the spirit of open access on the internet, this site intends to publish information freely, in contrast to existing journals which restrict user access to the information and also take copyright ownership in the work away from the author. There is no charge either to users to access this information, or to authors for publication.

Information on this website is available for use under the Gnu copyleft fair usage policy.

Users have full access to the information without charge and may use it in derivative, non-commercial works with acknowledgment of this source of the information and of its author. Any derivative works must also be licensed with the same Gnu copyleft terms.

All information on this site is believed to be accurate but is provided without warranty and no liability is accepted for any possible errors or omissions.

Publication:

This site offers to publish relevant exploration oriented information from any author who wishes to make their information available under the same Gnu copyleft fair usage policy as above. Authors who submit information to this site do not forfeit their ownership rights in their work, unlike traditional journals who take copyright ownership in published articles. Authors may re-use their information in other publications and also redistribute it if they wish to do so. There is no charge to authors for publication on this site.

The primary topics of information on this site are:

(1) The use of fluid inclusion data in practical mineral exploration
(2) Methods in exploration Geochemistry

However, any topic relevant to mineral exploration practice or articles on general fluid inclusion research will be considered for publication.

At this stage, articles are not subjected to peer-review, but publication is moderated by the site maintainer.

The preferred format for submissions is as html documents using png images for graphs and jpg for photographs. Please note that html files created by word processor programs, particularly Microsoft Word, are ridiculously verbose and it is best to make html documents in programs such as Seamonkey or Kompozer, which are free and available on many operating systems. (This site is maintained using Seamonkey, Kompozer (no longer maintained) and Arachnophilia) However the site maintainer can accept submissions in other formats if necessary and edit them to a suitable web format.
